Read here to find out what DRM (digital rights management) means.

If you find a book on Kobo that says “adobe DRM epub” instead of “download epub”, then you might have to take a few extra steps at first to get your computer authorized. A DRM file is one where the author has “locked” the file. Some authors do this to try to keep their books from being pirated, but it has the extra side effect of making it difficult for users who are using apps instead of an actual Kobo device. Here is what you need to do to authorize your computer. First click on the “Adobe DRM epub” button and download the URL link to your computer. If you double click on the link/file after it downloads, a pop up box should appear. It’ll ask you to enter your vender ID. If you look towards the lower left corner you ‘ll see “authorize my computer without an ID”. Click the box beside that and then your computer will be authorized. And the file will download automatically. Then in the future any other books you download to your computer will download as an URL link but when you double click on it, then the file will automatically open. You might have to install adobe digital editions to make this work but it’s a free download. You’ll only need to do this for the first book. Once you’ve authorized your computer, then for future books, you just click the “adobe drm epub” button in your library on Kobo and when the file downloads to your computer, double click on it and it’ll automatically open in Adobe Digital editions for you. If you need help with any of this feel free to msg me on the Facebook page itself.

Rules for the Facebook Page:

Welcome to all the newcomers! If you’re new to the page, please be sure to read this before posting. All of the info on how the page works is here. A few reminders about how the page works:

Ebooks are free for limited time only. Prices update HOURLY so we never know when the price may change. Please be sure to confirm it’s still free before downloading. Price was listed as $0.00 at the time of posting and since I’m not psychic, I cannot guarantee how long they will remain free after I post. At some point ALL the free ebooks I post will no longer be free. I am NOT the one that makes them free. The author/publisher determines price NOT me. There is no need to msg me and say “it’s no longer free”. Because at some point ALL the ebooks may no longer be free.

If you’re not seeing all of our posts (and you want to), make sure to click the “Get Notifications” tab. To check to see if it’s clicked, hover over the like button of this page. A drop down menu will appear, it’ll say “get notifications” and “add to interests lists”. If “get notifications” doesn’t have a check mark beside, click it. Then you’ll receive FB notifications every time a new post is made.

If you don’t prefer notifications, then be sure to be active on the page by liking, sharing, or commenting on individual posts. If you’re not interacting on the page, FB thinks you’re not interested and doesn’t show our posts. This applies to all pages you like, not just ours.

Due to changes in Amazon policy (which happened after I created the page), I won’t be able to share only free ebooks any longer. Amazon has a strict ratio for every number of free ebooks shared a certain number of paid books must be shared. In order for me to continue sharing free ebooks I must meet Amazon’s requirements or else I won’t be able to share any free Kindle books at all. Unfortunately Facebook won’t allow me to change the name of the page to reflect this. For this reason I’ll be sharing bargain and free ebooks.

Links are all for the US Amazon only. The price may be different for you if you’re outside the US. I have no control over this as I do not set any pricing. Pricing is up to the authors/publishers. Please don’t msg me complaining that it’s not free on another Amazon site. That is not something I have control over. You should confirm it’s free in your country before downloading.

Prices are free for limited time only so please be sure to confirm the price is still free before downloading. Prices may change at any time. Follow our Ebook Deals for Nook and Kindle page to get daily free and bargain ebooks for Nook and Kindle.
